Fumi

Who: A fun, nostalgic, art based brand.

What: Creative direction, social media, branding, illustration, product creation, advertising, artwork.

Fumi is a passion project for myself to create comics and illustrations in order to promote products and the brand as a whole. I have progressively grown the Instagram account @fumi.wrld to 194,000+ followers organically over 3 years. The theme is based around the dichotomy of the two mascots doing fun, youthful, and troublemaking activities together. The artwork serves to be nostalgic of being a young person in the 90’s and early 2000’s. The hallmark series “Sunday Fumies” pays homage to the old Sunday Funnies comics. The artwork created to promote the brand has been made through illustration, photo manipulation, and collage methods. I also created a website that fits the brand’s specific style to sell the products: fumiwrld.com
